Biography - Robert J Mailloux, University of Massachusetts, USA Dr. Mailloux is a Research Professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles in refereed journals, written ten book chapters or encyclopedia sections, twelve patents, authored the texts Phased Array Antenna Handbook, and Electronicallly Scanned Arrays and is an Editor of the text History of Wireless. His research has been in the area of periodic structures and phased arrays, and he has made contributions to array scanning technology, subarray techniques for wide band scanning, array coupling and architecture. He has won numerous Air Force and IEEE awards, including the IEEE Third Millennium Medal and the IEEE Harry Diamond Award.
